Tropics

The sand beneath my toes is warm,
As I stroll towards the shore,
The sound of waves in the distance,
Draws me closer, evermore.
The sun is high up in the sky,
Its rays a brilliant gold,
The palm trees sway in the breeze,
A sight to behold.
The path to the beach is winding,
Through lush greenery and trees,
And with every step I take,
I feel the cool ocean breeze.
As I near the shore, I see,
A vista of blue and green,
The ocean's endless expanse,
A sight that can't be unseen.
The sand is white and powdery,
Stretching for miles on end,
The water crystal clear,
A true paradise, my friend.
I walk along the water's edge,
Feeling the waves at my feet,
The sun setting in the horizon,
A moment so serene and sweet.
The tropical beach, a wonder,
A place of peace and bliss,
A true escape from reality,
In a world of pure amiss.
