Twilight Tides

The sparkling sun started setting,
A sight I will never be forgetting.
The sky lit up,
Like an excited little pup.
Silky sand trickles between my toes,
Ocean breeze blowing through my nose.
Golden shafts of light pierce the sea,
I sit there with little giggles of glee.
Darling dolphins dancing through the light,
It is a gorgeous, dazzling night.
Palm trees sway in the breeze,
All my thoughts and worries are at ease.
The ocean hums a quiet tune,
I feel like I’m floating in a small balloon.
The brightness of the sun disappears,
I collect some shells as souvenirs.
The wind blows through my hair,
With a delectable airy glare.
The night sky shines bright,
I will never forget tonight.
