The blooming Eucalyptus grew in verdant valleys

As nature compassionately nurtured us whilst,

We plotted to overthrow it.

Green was the song of the Earth.

Life danced amidst Earth

While we dreamt of a constructed world.

Of an empire where we were God.

Epochs pass,

And even the great forests of legends old

Scream in grief at their kin piled in loads.

For humanity has a mind of wheels and steel.

We stare at scarred forests roaring in wrath

A raging inferno consuming our homes

And we wonder at what we have done.

For whatever we do

Nature shall never forgive us.
