The forest trees encircle me in an everlasting maze

They stretch tall touching the edge of heaven

Aboriginal Elders set grasses and bushes ablaze

Backburning before summer, to prevent the raging conflagration.

The scorching hot sun shines like a mirror reflecting light

Small patches of sunlight reach the forest floor.

The nocturnal animals come to hunt for prey at night

The forest is filled with birds, insects and so much more.

Rippling rivers leading down to the ocean

Animals scatter around the forest from day to night

Saving the forests is our only option

Without nature, this world won't be bright
