Walking Through the Rainforest

Crunch, crunch, I walked

I touched the greenest leaf with patterns dancing across the smooth surface

It smelt like the crispness of the air

The birds sang

The crickets chirping

Like a heartbeat

The plants wrapping around the footpath

The lush, jungle-themed rainforest

All the colours were vibrant

It was misty

I spot a tree

Saying you will come here everyday

When I blink, its message is gone
