Wanda Beach Poem

I enter the place that I can see, very nice to eyes that can see,
The little bushes and sand dunes look like they’re looking at me,
But, I’m here for the real thing, the sea!
I’m looking at it and I feel the sea looking back at me,
I’m happy and the sea is too,
I don’t know if it's really happy because
Who knows? Not me!
So I ask the sea if it’s happy or not,
And it said, No I’m not and I am sick, I asked why and then realized whose fault it is,
It’s plastic bottles and bags polluting the oceans!
I stop talking to the sea to notice the beautiful things around me,
Then, I see a tree, a little one to be exact,
And it thinks, Why is there a lot of rubbish on the beach?
I want to take them but I can’t because I’m just a little tree,
But the humans are making this mess and they’re being lazy,
So they should clean up this big horrendous mess!
And when I see the beach polluted,
I think
Better enjoy it while it lasts.
