Water

I am the source of hydration,
Small animals swim by.
I am the home to sea creatures living inside.
Without me the world would wither and die.
I hold many unknown mysteries lying deep down,
Big creatures swim there without a sound.
But one big wave can wash you away,
Deep into the eternal darkness.
Small wooden boats float on the surface,
Unaware of the dangers that lie,
Away from the surface, away from the eye.
Sparkling blue waves shatter on the sand,
Breaking into a million droplets spraying out.
Crystalized waves freezing in motion,
Flakes of silver flutter around without a sound,
Melting to transparent drops.
Rain cascading down with small plops,
Like a pixie’s crystal hair falling like a waterfall,
Crystalized waves, freezing in motion,
Collapsing and breaking into a million shards.
