Water's destruction

You sit staring out a window, 

Watching the hail fall down, 

As it melts you begin to worry, 

Will your plants drown? 

You sit staring out a window, 

Water covers your lawn, 

All the work you did to maintain it, 

Is suddenly gone. 

You sit staring out a window, 

Everything is destroyed, 

The water washed it all away,  

Leaving it a lifeless void.
