Water's Wrath

It all starts with rain
A long-lasting chain.
As waterspouts burst open drains,
They slowly take over the endless plains.
Dams are forged into reckless rivers
Forcing out all the living figures.
Towns are being engulfed in waves,
The screams are what the water craves.
Desperation is seen everywhere,
As they climb onto their roofs, they are spared.
And just like that...
It is over.
