What I call home

Like a rainforest,
It is crowded by nature.
The smell of fresh grass filling the air.
The trees greener than emeralds,
And the sky shimmers like sapphires.
At two o'clock exactly,
The birds gather one by one,
Singing their beautiful songs.
Butterflies fly from flower to flower,
Taking in the shimmering gold pollen.
You can hear the crickets harmonizing together,
While you discover the place.
You can feel the warmth of the wind hitting your face.
The colourful flowers make the environment full of joy,
Letting you enjoy every moment made.
And during winter,
When the raindrops hit the leaves,
It calms you within seconds.
The cold breeze hits you,
And you are instantly refreshed.
You can feel happiness and joy take over your body.
It reminds me of a place called home.
