As the sun hovers above the horizon,
And the waves crash onto the sand.
I think about life,
And what makes it so bland.
My toe dips in the water,
It sends a cold shiver up my spine.
And I wonder…
What makes the beach so divine.
The beauty pulls me in,
As I try to keep myself afloat.
The waves crash over me,
It’s making me choke.
My mouth fills with salty water,
My energy is draining.
The waves throw me out,
It soon then starts raining.
The sun is going down,
I can finally go to bed.
The dark parts of the sea,
Just weren’t quite said.
