The whistling of the forest wind,
The little rustles from the animals down below,
Leaves flittering down like a soft bird feather,
Always a gift, even a treasure.
What lies below and amongst the leaves,
You’ll never know until you explore,
What lies amongst the forest floor.
Controlling everything that lies upon them,
Providing life for living creatures,
Only using its astounding features.
Little by little it wears away,
Us humans destroy,
Us humans only leave so much to enjoy.
Deforestation isn't a must,
Homes and habitats aren’t lasting long,
Who knows until it’s all gone.
Animals are dying,
Extinction numbers are rising,
You never know when our Earth might drop.
