what we have done

Our environment is crumbling under the weight,
Trees, water, plant and animals,
Of humans and our litter and waste,
It is now our duty
to fix what we lost
The sacred beauty
Of the blooming trees
Some provide nourishment
And the plants of plenty
But they are dying
and that is punishment
For what we have done
And we hope that the government
Could help
And they can
With enough persuasion
They can put in a ban
But we need everyone on board
Otherwise we can not repent
For what we have done
