An inner fire glowed
It flowed
It did not slow
And it showed
She was fearless and brave
And never caved
She fought for her side
She took loss in her stride
She wouldn't let it affect her pride
Strangers saw her and preferred to be her
They would whisper about this lady
The one who used to be a common daisy
But now was a buttercup
Who shall never be dug up
As she won’t give up
Confident was the word people called her
And the word they would refer her as
None knew her secret though
Of how she got her inner glow
On her finger a band sat
Her finger it had trapped
Her confidence was not her own
Yet her confidence had grown
This ring made of stone
Made her feel as though she was on a throne
The ring of confidence
But yet people begin to wonder is she over confident?
Is there something behind this behaviour
Or is this just her nature?
The doubts swirled
No longer could she live in this fantasy world
Yet the ring stayed
And she become afraid
Why wouldn't it come off?
Would she have to cut it off?
Twenty years later the fateful day came
This girl just become a name
One of which had great fame
The tale of the girl who was always confident
