Sunlight rustles through the forest’s leaves,

bringing us to a new place that we never have seen

As ferns unravel like delicate little green umbrellas

The river sings its soft melodic lullaby,

its waves crash against stones as if each ripple is carrying a new secret

We see all the creatures that live in this beautiful forest

An elusive fox to a delicate butterfly showing us how nature's beauty is divine.

Shadows dance on moss as the earth breathes softly.

The air with the scent of blossoms

jasmine and wild mint swirl in the breeze

The flowers bloom in defiance,

while the colours erupt like joy

Cool grass against our feet

Each blade a gentle caress

Ripe berries are tart and juicy

Like a new burst of summer

The more time we spend with nature the more we realise,

we won’t know it all and never will.
