Macquarie Island's marine life likes to swim around the island.

When you walk across the crunchy sand you can hear the birds singing,

The waves crashing against the sand, the grass dancing in the wind.

When you sit on the beach you enter a tropical paradise.

But the wildlife is in danger,

The native animal’s population is affected majorly,

Tourism destroying habitats and water access.

Hunters taking penguins for their blubber,

Not even considering the environmental harms.

Macquarie Island, the island in the distance.
