You know what’s funny, is you travelled so far
To mean so much
To be so much to me
To go here, there and everywhere
To be with me
Through sun, wind and storm
And yet still be ok.

It’s kind of funny
How you’re always near
I can only with you stay forever
So I may keep you close
But that is only a wish.

As I work and work
I start to sleep
And yet somehow you’re here
For me to rest without fear.

I forgot that you're just my blue jacket
But I am glad you’re here
