Poetry Ambassadors representing the form
Every art form needs its champions. We've again invited some of the nation's favourite public figures who each hold a deep love of poetry to join our quest to bring poetry to all people during Poetry Month.
Six Poetry Month Ambassadors will amplify Poetry Month through sharing their own newly commissioned poems, writing prompts, and reflections on their relationship to the art form as part of 30in30. We're thrilled to introduce our 2026 Poetry Ambassadors:
- Iconic singer-songwriter Missy Higgins
- Comedian and content creator Sez
- Sports commentator and writer Bharat Sundaresan
- Walkley-award winning journalist and presenter Jan Fran
- Musician, rapper and author Ziggy Ramo
- ABC radio broadcaster and host Rudi Bremer
