The light shone at the bright red leaf
That sat in the middle of the room late at night.
Without sense or reason

Nobody knows where it came from
Nobody understands,
Sometimes I just don’t know what to do.
The leaf was as bright as copper in the blazing sun.

This was my second red leaf
Wonderful things pass by me
I wondered what it was
I told everyone
They didn’t understand
The world was a deaf machine

Darkness overcomes me
