A protected land

The trees whispering like gossiping school girls
The sun beaming proudly
Tough brown bark protecting what’s inside
Because what’s inside, stays inside.
That’s the way it should be.
A hint of eucalyptus in the air tickling my nose
Rippling creekwater, pristine land
The warm wind swaying branches like a mother rocking her child
