As I’m standing there in shock,
my heart trying to break through the ice as it plays a rhythm
thrud thrud thrud thrud.
Standing there, alone.
My heart jumping out of my heart.
I look around as I’m under the waves of the Big Hood in the dank deep whirls
ting ting ting.
All I could hear is my ear tingling and my face burning from the cold.
Falling asleep as the bubbles float rising up popping
pop pop pop pop.
Silences surround me.
