Caramel

Her caramel coat reflects
the brightness of the blinding sun
“Rip” the kale has rapidly separated between
her cloud white teeth
She tries to bolt as I collect the knots
And play with her new glossy tail
Caramel will chase me
then suddenly stop in a hurry
slowly approach and ask for a relaxing pat
on a cold winter morning she will perch there
Like a school student waiting for the school bell
to go off for hometime
She loves to run
to the other end of the paddock
with the other calves
leading the way like a number 1 chief
She is playful, waiting to win my love
But she knows she has already has it
