The deep sings to me
In long whispering breaths
And as I spring from the bow
Someone screams

“OVERBOARD!”

I am embraced by the ocean
It’s thousands of secrets spilling over me like the fish in it’s belly
I voyage deeper
Down to the watery bed
Where the sand is ground in a temperamental mill
Polishing granite to shimmering dust

Reverberating echoes resound across perpetual distance

Elongated emerald grass bows profoundly by the aftershock

I look up
To a boy
Clad in the similar leathery membrane as I
Descending the levels to heaven
And drawn away
From this divine abode
Back into our credible domain
